Program Learning Outcomes
A graduate of the Mathematics and Science AS program (Science Option) should be able to:
- Demonstrate a basic content knowledge of biology, including, but not limited to: cell structure, evolution, taxonomy, and ecology.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of chemistry, including, but not limited to: atomic structure, elements, bonding, chemical reactions, and stoichiometry.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of the scientific method.
- Demonstrate basic math skills to be ready for calculus.
