The upper-division program in criminal justice is offered in two formats: on-site (at SUNY Delhi or SCCC) or online. SUNY Delhi has articulation arrangements with community colleges across SUNY so that students at other locations may matriculate directly through SUNY Delhi and take their upper-level courses through SUNY Delhi’s Online BS in Criminal Justice-SUNY Delhi at SCCC. Graduates from SUNY Criminal Justice AA programs can enter the program with junior status.

1 Students will take four courses that are either CJUS 300-499 or HONR 300-499 with the CJUS attribute.
2 Students will take two courses that are 300-499 with LASC, LAUP attributes, or HONR 300-499 with LASC, LAUP attributes

Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the Criminal Justice BS program should be able to:
- demonstrate their ability to summarize and interpret the nature and administration of the three components of criminal justice: enforcement, the court systems, and corrections.
- demonstrate their comprehension of statutory criminal law, federal and state constitutions, and federal and state judicial systems in the historical development, and evolution of the American criminal justice system.
- integrate and apply knowledge of the nature of crime and criminal behavior to effectively analyze criminal situations in research and written work.
- demonstrate proficiency in research and writing, including the ability to analyze criminal justice data and incorporate it into their written work.
SUNY General Education Requirement
Students who intend to receive AA, AS, or baccalaureate degrees must satisfy SUNY and campus General Education (GE) requirements to graduate. Students should be aware that GE requirements may vary by academic program. Consult with your academic advisor for program-specific information; for general information: General Education
AAS and AOS degree students may not be required to fulfill General Education (GE) requirements; however, any student who may wish to transfer should complete as many GE courses as possible. Consult with your academic advisor.
