Program Learning Outcomes
A graduate of the Human Resources Management - BBA program should be able to:
- Employ strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Possess effective communication skills that demonstrate understanding, translation, and transfer of complicated ideas to a variety of audiences.
- Apply related employee functions and processes within an organizational environment for the purpose of developing and maintaining a qualified workforce.
- Identify effective supervisory techniques and basic principles of human behavior and their impact on the relationship between first line supervisors and management.
- List, define, and draw conclusions regarding specific labor legislation and contracts to understand their impact on labor management agreements.
- Examine and appraise the fundamental concepts and rules of laws that apply to business activities, the employment function, and labor.
- Demonstrate responsible, resourceful, and ethical behavior.
- Demonstrate proper use of human resources information systems for effective documentation and reporting.
- Relate the experiences and personal growth obtained during the practicum experience to the literature search potion of the final project.
SUNY General Education Requirement
Students who intend to receive AA, AS, or baccalaureate degrees must satisfy SUNY and campus General Education (GE) requirements to graduate. The technical standards listed below are intended to inform students of the skills, abilities, and behavioral expectations required in this program. These technical standards reflect performance abilities and characteristics that are necessary to successfully complete the requirements of this program at SUNY Delhi. These standards are not conditions of admission to the program, but persons interested in applying for admission to the program should review this list to develop a better understanding of the skills, abilities, and behavioral expectations necessary to successfully complete the program. General Technical Standards
