This course is for students who have some ability in French. Students must have skill in grammatical construction and sentence structure. The emphasis of the course is on greater facility in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding French, including a study of representative selections from French literature.
Student Learning Outcomes of the Course: The General Education requirement for World Languages is satisfied by HUMN 110. To meet this General Education requirement, students will be able to:
- exhibit basic proficiency in the understanding and use of a world language; and
- demonstrate knowledge of the distinctive features of culture(s) associated with the language they are studying.
