This course is a study of fundamental computer terminology, concepts, and problem-solving techniques. Emphasis is placed on the development of problem-solving skills using a programming language. Students learn to write, test, and debug programs related to appropriate disciplines using computer equipment.
Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:
- Define various computer and programming terms.
- Design a flowchart for use as a programming problem solving tool.
- Evaluate and review programs with errors apply the type of correction needed.
- Construct complete programs-utilizing objects and straight programming to complete them.
