This course is designed to prepare students for the veterinary technician national exam which is required for licensing. Students will engage in test taking and critical thinking techniques and strategies. Topics include pharmacology and pharmacy, surgical nursing, dentistry, laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia, emergency medicine and critical care, and pain management and analgesia. Students must be eligible to take the VTNE.

Apply knowledge from previous veterinary science technology courses to complete 80% or greater of VetTechPrep.
Demonstrate test-taking and critical-thinking strategies.
