This course provides comprehensive laboratory skill experiences in the use of alternating-current motors (single and three phase), transformers, and programmable logic control systems.

Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:
  1. Demonstrate workmanship in electrical installations consistent with accepted industry practices.
  2. Diagnose residential and commercial heating control systems.
  3. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
