This comprehensive laboratory skills course provides experiences in the use of direct-current motors, generators, and HVAC control systems including pneumatics.
Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:
- Comprehend and interpret the national Electric Code regulations to ensure code compliance and demonstrate the skills required to perform the necessary calculations.
- Write sequences of operations for control systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to safely use common test equipment.
- Observe national Electric Code compliance, including calculation wire sizes, sizing starters, fuses and overload devices.
