Advertising as a tool in the marketing of products and services is studied. The course provides the fundamentals of advertising and an examination of the decision sequence framework that a marketing manager would follow in the development of an effective advertising campaign.
Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:
- Understand the basic terms and concepts involved in sound marketing and advertising planning.
- Demonstrate the sequence of steps involved in the planning, development and management of an advertising campaign.
- Demonstrate the kinds of decisions that must be involved in the course of an effective campaign development.
