Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the Criminal Justice BS program should be able to:

• demonstrate their ability to summarize and interpret the nature and administration of the three components of criminal justice: enforcement, the court systems, and corrections. 
• demonstrate their comprehension of statutory criminal law, federal and state constitutions, and federal and state judicial systems in the historical development, and evolution of the American criminal justice system.
• integrate and apply knowledge of the nature of crime and criminal behavior to effectively analyze criminal situations in research and written work.
• demonstrate proficiency in research and writing, including the ability to analyze criminal justice data and incorporate it into their written work.
