The course will cover a detailed look at Gaming Control, Gaming Regulations, Casino Accounting and Cash Control, an Introduction to Table Games-Sports Book Operations-Race Operations, Effective Player Rating & The Premium Player, and Security and Surveillance.

Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:

Identify the role of government and how it regulates the casino and gaming industry
Identify the role of security and surveillance in the casino and gaming industry
Discuss the most popular types of gambling including table games, horse racing, and lotteries
Identify the future of gaming and the role the internet will play
