This course provides advanced training in techniques and theory necessary to the production of quality multi-pass groove and fillet welds using the shielded metal and flux-cored welding process in all positions.
Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:
- Understand the theory and operation of shielded metal/ flux cored arc welding for advanced techniques.
- Operate arc welding equipment to produce quality advanced multi-pass groove and fillet welds.
- Identify all major weld joints and weld sizes.
- Adjust and control shielded/ flux cored arc welding equipment to produce a desired weld outcome.
