This course introduces students to energy and residential heat-loss calculations as well as building energy requirements.

Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:

The student will be able to measure a building to be able to determine heat loss.
The student will be able to judge construction features and insulation to determining R values.
The student will be able to determine the amount of heating needed for a space.
The student will be able to size heating equipment for a space.
