Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:

Understanding history of and reasons for building and zoning codes and familiarity with the content and use of both
Awareness of other practice “controls,” including education, licensure, ethics, liability and contracts
Identification of personal skills and traits helpful towards contributing to and advancing in the profession of architecture
Knowledge of the organization and structure of architectural firms and of typical project-oriented teams
Familiarity with project scopes and comprehension of successful project management techniques
Understanding of basic business aspects and considerations of professional practice
