Prerequisite(s): BUSI 337 and BUSI 410 Restriction(s): Senior status.
Human Resource Management is an instrument in the execution of Corporate, Business and Functional Strategy including its operations as servicing unit for internal and external stakeholders in recruitment, selection, development, assessment, promotion, dislocation, communication, and supoprting HRIS technology. Specific tools for analysis and decisional support will be deployed in the case of right sizing, formation, business combinations, merger, acquisition, and dissolution. Students will learn best practices and legal requirements of strategic human resource and human capital management.

- Analyze human capital service requirments for an organization
- Evaluate and apply the best practices of strategic human capital managament
- Investigate and define legal requirements of strategic human capital actions
- Develop human resource plans for rightsizing, business combinations and human capital management
