This course will present an overview of entry level background information to assist and enable the student to understand and participate in a modern veterinary practice serving farm animals. It will also enable the student to understand basic diseases of farm animals and the common methods used to prevent those diseases. Husbandry techniques and basic surgical, nursing and anesthesia skills will also be discussed.
