This course covers blueprint basics such as lines, views, sketching, units of measurements, limits and tolerances, use and types of threaded fasteners, finish marks, and special dimensioning features. In addition, welding print formats and the types of fabrication prints are presented.

Demonstrate the ability to interpret technical information used on industrial working and assembly drawings.
Demonstrate the ability to prepare orthographic, isometric and oblique drawings.
Be able to prepare a bill of materials from an industry drawing.
Interpret and prepare basic welding symbols.
