This course focuses on a specific topic, theme or period in Western or World Civilization that will change from semester to semester. This in-depth study is intended to enrich students’ understanding of the past. Course may be repeated as the topic changes for up to nine (9) credits.

knowledge of either a broad outline of world history, or
knowledge of the distinctive features of the history, institutions, economy, society, culture etc., of one non-Western civilization
