Prerequisite(s): ENGL 100 or ENGL 200 This course focuses on a specific topic, theme or period in Western or World Civilization that will change from semester to semester. This in-depth study is intended to enrich students’ understanding of the past. Course may be repeated as the topic changes for up to nine (9) credits.
Student Learning Outcomes of the Course: Students will demonstrate
- knowledge of either a broad outline of world history, or
- knowledge of the distinctive features of the history, institutions, economy, society, culture etc., of one non-Western civilization
