This course compliments others with its focus on the development and application of procedural laws applicable to the administration of criminal justice in the United States with emphasis on the understanding of the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution as they apply to police and prosecutors.

Student Learning Outcomes of the Course: Upon completing this course, students should be able to:

Comprehend and understand the meaning of the 4th, 5th, 6th and 14th Amendments of the Constitution of the United States.
Understand and critically analyze the United States Supreme Courts current and historical interpretation of the 4th, 5th, 6th and 14th Amendments as well as the Courts application of the amendments to actual court cases.
Determine the appropriate legal resolution to criminal justice fact patterns involving matters pertaining to the 4th, 5th, 6th and 14th Amendments of the Constitution of United States.
