This capstone course provides the opportunity for learners to enact components of academic and/or administrative nursing practice roles. The course synthesizes cumulative program content, evidence, standards of professional practice, and professional expectations for nurse educators and/or administrators in a comprehensive practicum experience.
Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:
- Apply knowledge, evidence, professional nursing standards, and graduate-level nursing concepts to a nursing education or administration practicum.
- Reflect on practicum experiences, achievement of practicum outcomes, and graduate-level practice role development.
- Align professional nursing standards and guidelines with graduate program learning activities
- Engage in activities that prepare the learner for employment in nurse educator or administrative roles.
