This comprehensive laboratory skills course provides experiences in the use of direct-current motors, generators, and HVAC control systems including pneumatics.

Student Learning Outcomes of the Course:
  1. Comprehend and interpret the national Electric Code regulations to ensure code compliance and demonstrate the skills required to perform the necessary calculations.
  2. Write sequences of operations for control systems.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to safely use common test equipment.
  4. Observe national Electric Code compliance, including calculation wire sizes, sizing starters, fuses and overload devices.
